Legal Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use artive.co.za, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link.
• Pages use proper headings, landmarks and labels so screen readers can navigate them.
• The menu, tabs and questions-and-answers follow standard keyboard patterns: Escape closes the menu, and arrow keys move between tabs.
• Text meets AA colour-contrast requirements. Our brand red is used only for large text, where it meets the large-text threshold.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, animations and scrolling effects are switched off.
• Pages reflow to a single column on small screens without horizontal scrolling, and text can be enlarged up to 200%.
• Images carry text descriptions, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.

Known limitations

• Some older articles in Latest Insights may have images without full text descriptions. We are reviewing them.
• Payment and booking pages provided by third parties are outside our direct control, though we choose providers that support accessibility.
